🤍 38 weeks 🤍 and it’s getting so close to meeting little one (not so little one) now after a big day of appointments and scans today 🤰🏼🙊🤍 38 weeks pregnant | 2026 baby | mama to be | second time mama | pregnancy induction | gestational diabetes | March baby

Been dreading this! 😩 This ended in the way I knew it would 😂 Taking the Pregnancy Glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. (More common in women of colour btw) luckily I didn’t test positive for it though and all was good! Did you take this? #glucosetest #pregnancyjourney #pregnancylife #dubaihospital #pregnantlife

I really said gestational diabetes is over 😂😂😂 why is the toast after birth the best toast you’ll ever have? What was your first meal, the one you’d really been craving, after birth ?! Post partum • post birth • WIEIAD • gestational diabetes • birth

Why do we sometimes see an EMPTY SAC in the first pregnancy ultrasound? 🤍 Seeing only a gestational sac can be very common in early pregnancy — and most of the time, it simply means it’s too early. Here’s why 👇 ✨ 1. Pregnancy is very early In the first few weeks, the baby is extremely tiny. Only the gestational sac may be visible first. ✨ 2. Baby is still too small The embryo measures just a few millimetres initially — smaller than a grain of rice 🌱 So it may not yet be seen on ultrasound. ✨ 3. Wrong dates are very common Late ovulation or irregular cycles can shift pregnancy dates. You may actually be 1–2 weeks earlier than expected. ✨ 4. Nature follows a sequence Ultrasound findings appear step by step: ➡️ Gestational sac ➡️ Yolk sac ➡️ Tiny embryo ➡️ Cardiac activity ❤️ ✨ 5. One scan is never the final answer Early pregnancy needs time + repeat scan. Patience is key. 🤍 In many cases, a repeat scan after 7–10 days shows a growing baby. ✨ Remember: An empty sac on the first scan does NOT automatically mean miscarriage. Sometimes, it simply means… we looked too early. #earlypregnancy #firsttrimester #pregnancyultrasound #emptysac #earlyscan #pregnancyjourney #radiology #ultrasoundpregnancy #obstetricultrasound #pregnancyscan #patienceiskey #expectingmom #firstscan #pregnancycare #momtobe

I had gestational diabetes in both of my pregnancies. The first time: overwhelmed, scared, and completely let down by the advice I was given. I followed the meal plan. I hit the carb targets. My numbers still didn’t make sense and nobody could explain why. An induced labor that lasted 3 days. The second time was different. Not because my body changed. Not because I was more disciplined. Because I finally had a framework that addressed everything driving my blood sugar - not just the food, but the stress, the sleep, the way my nervous system was responding to a diagnosis that felt completely out of my control. The second time, I had a fully natural birth. I built the GD Control Method because no woman should have to go through her first pregnancy to learn what I learned the hard way. If you’re newly diagnosed, or facing GDM again and determined to do it differently this time - I’m hosting a free live webinar on Friday May 22 at 10am MT where I’m walking through exactly what that framework looks like. Link in bio to register, or comment RESERVE and I’ll send you the link (make sure you’re following me or you won’t get it!) I’d love to see you there. 🤍

I chose an elective c-section. Said no thx to the induction. Go ahead and have feelings about that. I was the "no birth plan" girlie. Totally relaxed. Going with the flow. Very zen about the whole thing. And then gestational diabetes showed up and was like lol no. So the moment it went on the calendar I felt relief for the first time in weeks. Sometimes the plan finds you. Aaaand then Nelle was like actually I'm coming now. My blood pressure was skyrocketing at my 38-week checkup and my doctor sent me straight to the hospital. No scheduled date. No easing in. Just go, right now. I am ten weeks postpartum and I have some birthing regrets. Not about the decision because it was the right one for me given everything. But about what it could have been if things were different. You know what I mean. Episode 1 of Tell Me I'm a Good Mom is out now 🎧 comment BIRTH and I'll send you the link

Aleitamento materno: reduz adiposidade, melhora sensibilidade à insulina e modula a programação metabólica. 2. Vigilância do crescimento: evitar ganho ponderal excessivo e “catch-up” desproporcional. 3. Introdução alimentar adequada: sem açúcares livres e ultraprocessados; respeitar fome e saciedade. 4.

ME HAN SACADO DIABETES EN EL EMBARAZO🤰 ➖ ¿Seguro?
