With Global Entry being shut down, you still have options. Mobile Passport Control is a completely free alternative government program that helps you get thru customs faster. Comment MOBILE For the link! Just download the app from the App Store, scan you passport, and answer the questions. You can process up to 12 people in a single application. And you can do this right when u land up to 4 hours before. This will allow you to get in the much shorter MPC line. Instead of the regular line, which is even LONGER currently. If you don’t want to pay the $120 for Global Entry and you want to speed up the Customs and Border Patrol process, check out the Mobile Passport Control app. You can enter up to 12 additional passengers along with yourself and enjoy a faster customs process. To use it, make sure you are flying into a port with Mobile Passport Control. There are 53 sites, including 35 U.S. International Airports, 14 Preclearance locations, and 4 seaports of entry. Then, within 4 hours of entry, go through the app and fill everything out. You will use it to declare anything to customs, take a photo of yourself, and electronically enter it into the app. When you get to Customs, look for a dedicated Mobile Passport Control line that should be faster than the regular Customs line. And don’t forget your passport, you will still need it. This is not the same as Global Entry - you won’t need to pay $120 every five years (it’s free), do a background check, submit fingerprints, or interview with an officer to get approved. You do have to be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitor, or a returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA though. Follow for more!

I’ve been preaching this for years since it’s so easy to use and saves me so much time when I return to the USA.
