If I were to start over as a beginner golfer, here are 3 drills I would do every single day to become a scratch golfer ⬇️ Read Below ⬇️ 1. First take a towel and put it under your arm pits The towel forces your arms to stay connected to your torso. This helps eliminate excessive arm movement, which can cause inconsistent contact and poor distance control. 2. Next drill Take a towel and place it on the ground about a clubbed behind your golf ball If you hit the towel before the ball it means your low point is behind the ball which is the most common reason for those Chunk or Fat shots. Learn how to control the low point and strike the ball first before the turf One of the keys for consistent contact 3. Final drill we are going to train our landing point Take a towel and place it on a spot where you want to land the ball for that specific shot Most amateur golfers focus only on the pin. But the best players in the world think landing spot first, then the roll out. By aiming at a towel, you’re shifting your mind to where to land it, not just where it finishes.
