The hottest building in the world I finally saw a data center from inside. This is why these are so important and why we need a LOT of energy for them!! Thank you @ADNOCgroup for having me

Googles new data centre in the UK would be as bad for the planet as AN AIRPORT! #ai #datacenter

Google investing $3.3 billion dollars into 3 data centers in the Charleston area. 2 new data centers will be in Dorchester County (Ridgeville and St George) and they are expanding their Berkeley County data center in Moncks Corner. Google has partnered with Italian energy storage company Energy Dome to deploy CO2 Battery technology for powering data centers with long-duration clean energy. The system compresses carbon dioxide into liquid using excess renewable energy, then releases it as pressurized gas to spin turbines for 8-24 hours of electricity generation. This addresses a critical gap since current lithium-ion batteries only store power for four hours, while AI data centers require constant reliable energy. Energy Dome’s technology has operated in Italy for three years, with a 20MW commercial plant already operational. The partnership aims to enable 24/7 carbon-free data center operations by 2030. #trendingreels #technology #datacenter #energy #ai

Google is making one of its largest commitments to Texas yet, announcing a $40 billion investment through 2027 that includes new data centers and energy projects.

Project Suncatcher is Google’s plan to move AI data centers into orbit. Why space? Constant sunlight means steady, clean power with none of the limits that Earth-based power grids face. No clouds, no nighttime, just continuous energy for massive AI workloads. Cooling also works differently up there. Data centers on Earth generate a ton of heat and need huge cooling systems, but in space, heat can radiate directly into the vacuum. This reduces energy waste and cuts physical infrastructure costs back on Earth. There are still challenges to solve, like high-speed communication between Earth and orbit and designing hardware that can repair and manage itself without human hands nearby. But if it works, this could change how we build and scale global computing systems forever. #technology #AI #Google #Space #FutureTech #Engineering #BetterEngineer #Innovation #Solarpower #Datacenters

Google has announced a $15 billion AI hub in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Andhra Pradesh - its largest investment in India to date. The new hub will combine AI infrastructure, data centers, clean energy, and expanded fiber networks to accelerate India’s AI transformation. Spanning 2026–2030, the project aligns with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision and is expected to drive massive innovation and economic growth. According to Google’s analysis, the hub could generate $15 billion in US GDP as well, strengthening India–US collaboration in next-gen tech. A defining moment for India’s AI journey begins in Vizag. 🇮🇳 #GoogleAI #Vizag #AIIndia #TechNews

Google’s new moonshot, Project Suncatcher, aims to build AI data centers in orbit. These are solar-powered satellites equipped with Google TPUs and connected through laser links that can move terabits of data every second. In space, a solar panel can generate up to eight times more power than it can on Earth, making it one of the most energy-efficient ways to run machine learning. The plan starts with two prototype satellites launching in 2027 to test radiation-resistant chips, optical communication, and tight orbital formations. If it works, it could become the world’s first space-based AI network, turning sunlight directly into compute power. It sounds like science fiction, but for Google, it might just be the next logical step. The sky isn’t the limit anymore. It’s the data center.

Yes! but it depends where you’re playing. I’m all-in on data centers. Demand is exploding, and supply’s tight. That’s the kind of real estate I like: high-demand, low-supply, future-focused.

Business Insider just exposed the hidden map that big tech spent years trying to hide Meet Donna Gallant whos lived in Northern Virginia for thirty years In 2021 her peaceful neighborhood turned into a nightmare Google started building data centers around her home and the noise from cooling systems runs twenty-four seven She couldnt sleep Anxiety attacks so severe she had to move to her first floor with noise-canceling headphones just to rest Heres what nobody talks about There is no official record of how many data centers exist in America where they are or who owns them Tech companies redact permits hide behind LLCs and claim trade secrets to keep the public in the dark Business Insider did something nobodys done before They filed public record requests in every state for backup generator permits because every data center needs emergency generators What they found was shocking Twelve hundred and forty data centers across America nearly four times more than in 2010 Amazon Microsoft and Google are building these next to homes schools and hospitals in drought-stricken areas like Phoenix Arizona One Microsoft campus uses one point eight three billion gallons of drinking water per year enough for a city the size of Santa Cruz California These companies hide behind shell LLCs A data center called Mellan Enterprises in Ohio Thats actually Google Sidecat LLC in New Albany Thats Meta getting sixty million dollars in tax breaks while hiding their identity Big tech is building a hidden infrastructure that consumes as much power as entire cities **Hashtags:** #BigTech #DataCenters #Google #Amazon #Microsoft #Meta #TechInvestigation #BusinessInsider #DataPrivacy #TechSecrets #WaterConsumption #EnergyConsumption #TechInfrastructure #CorporateSecrecy #PublicRecords #TechIndustry #EnvironmentalImpact #TechTransparency #DataCenterMap #CommunityImpact #TechCorporations #WaterCrisis #EnergyUse #TechExpose #HiddenInfrastructure

The AI boom's real winners aren't chip companies. Power infrastructure has fundamentally better economics than semiconductor manufacturing. It can't be commoditized or competed away. If you're a utility with the only power connection to a region where tech companies need 10 gigawatts for data centers, you have natural monopoly pricing power. They can't move the data center. Building competing infrastructure takes a decade with regulatory approval. Chip companies carry technological obsolescence risk and intense competition. Utilities have regulated returns, government-backed infrastructure spending, and decade-long contracts with hyperscalers who have no alternative suppliers. The risk-adjusted profile is significantly better when you're looking at 10-year deployment timelines with federal backing. Everyone's chasing the AI trade while ignoring the companies capturing guaranteed margin on every megawatt these models consume. Follow for what comes next. ↓
