🧬Day in the Lab: measuring gene expression🧬 This RT/qPCR assay has been an absolute staple of my PhD so far! I use it all the time to measure the expression of certain genes in my adipocyte (fat cell) spheroids. At first I was looking at the genes we’d expect to see in an adipocyte so I could show that my spheroids are expressing the right thing! Now I’m able to use the same technique to see how my spheroids respond to different treatments.
