WHAT IS THAT PENCIL? ✏️😱 • One of my favourite things about sharing my artwork online, is getting to engage with other artists. I love helping people on their artistic journey and in turn learning from the community. Over the years, you’ve asked me one question more than any other: ‘what is that pencil?’. • The pencil in question is an extremely special tool in my arsenal, allowing me to create graphite drawings which have a full tonal range. I have been using these pencils for years and even after testing alternative I could get my hands on, I always come back to this pencil: the STAEDTLER MARS LUMOGRAPH BLACK. • I would only ever recommend something to you if I genuinely believed in it, and this is a tool I 100% get behind.
