LET’S BALANCE! Kan je maar geen balans vinden in je handstand zonder muur? Probeer dan deze 6 oefeningen die JIJ vandaag nog thuis kan doen om meer balans te leren krijgen! Om te kunnen balanceren in een handstand maak je steeds kleine correcties om recht te blijven staan. In een handstand doe je dat vooral met je vingers✋ • Over-balanceer je? Knijp dan met je vinger toppen hard in de grond. • Onder-balanceer je? Geef meer druk in je handpalmen en breng je schouders iets naar voren. Probeer ook altijd je schouders goed te blijven uitduwen en je core aan te spannen zodat je een goede handstand-lijn behoud!👀 Onthoud dat balanceren ook voor je zenuwstelsel, tijd nodig heeft om het leren. Daarom raad ik aan om vaker korte trainingen te doen waar je de focus hebt, dan lange trainingen die je 2x per week doet. Dit betekent niet dat je jezelf moet uitputten in elke training, het is goed om wat energie te bewaren! First handstand since I broke my clavicle. To be honest, I thought I might be done with handstands and any slight attempts I have instantly fell over on. This is certainly not like a year ago when I could walk around 22 times but getting around once is a good starting point and my goal will be to work back up to 10 times around. Handstands have been a constant source of joy since I was in 6th grade and I felt a little teary when I came down because it just feels so joyful to walk on your hands. I’ll keep you posted.
