We stayed at Hotel Kukuna, and it completely changed what we thought a Fuji stay could be. First- the food. Dinner is included and it’s not just “hotel food.” It’s beautifully plated courses plus a buffet with an unreal spread. Breakfast is a full buffet too, and genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve maybe ever had…. Yep ever. Then the room. Spacious, comfortable, and designed so Mount Fuji is the main event. Waking up to that view never got old- not once The onsen? Floor-to-ceiling Mount Fuji views while you soak. Quiet, relaxing, and exactly what you want after a day exploring Kawaguchiko😍 Add in a super comfortable bed, incredibly kind staff, and a welcome tea as soon as you arrive- and it just feels thoughtful from start to finish.
