Many beginner knitters think they can’t knit sleeves, hats, mittens, or cowls on circular needles if the cable is longer than the project. But the truth is — you absolutely can. You just need to pull out the extra cable between the stitches while you knit. This technique may feel a bit unusual at first, but once you get used to it, knitting on circular needles becomes smooth, fast, and very comfortable. This is one of the most useful tricks every knitter should know, especially if you don’t have the perfect needle length for every project. Save this reel so you don’t forget this tip, and follow my page for more simple knitting tutorials and helpful tricks. 🧶✨ #knittingtips #knittingtutorial #circularneedles

I’ll share this technique over and over again because it *will* save you time and frustration! I promise I use this technique every time I pick up stitches anytime I’m knitting a sweater - unless you’re picking up 1:1 where it’s nearly impossible to have an error - so sleeves, collar, along the back of the air sweater, saddles on saddle shoulder sweaters, etc. I hope this helps you on your next project! 💕#knitting #strikke #knittersofinstagram #sweaterknitting #knittingtutorial
