It’s the giant close up of my face that almost kept me from posting this 😂 but it’s an important message to share! If you don’t learn how to use the graphing calculator on your Praxis Math exam then you’re missing out on valuable points and quicker methods on how to save time by answering questions faster! Are you a graphing calculator pro or do you need some help in learning how to have quick access to the TI 84 calculator app?! “How to use the calculator to find LCM & HCF?” 🧮 Remember to save it, else you won’t be able to find it later 😉

Most AP Precalc mistakes with periodic functions come from this one idea. If period feels confusing, you’re not alone — it’s about the portion of the graph that repeats entirely, not just a few points. Full lesson on YT: Math with Professor V. #APPrecalculus #PeriodicFunctions #MathWithProfessorV

Stop memorizing the Quadratic Formula and start using your tools correctly The Quadratic Formula is a rite of passage for every math student. You have probably spent hours reciting negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac. It is long, tedious, and worst of all, it is incredibly easy to mess up. One wrong sign calculation inside that square root and your entire answer is wrong. But if you are allowed to use a scientific calculator, doing this by hand is a waste of your limited exam time. Your calculator has a dedicated Quadratic Mode that solves these equations instantly, and it is usually hidden under Mode 5 3. The secret to making this work is organization. Before you touch a button, make sure your equation is arranged in standard form. Once that is done, the calculator just needs the coefficients. In the example shown, we simply input 2 for A, 9 for B, and minus 7 for C. You do not need to do any arithmetic. The calculator processes the inputs and spits out the roots immediately. The best part is the versatility. If the answer is a complex fraction, a single button press converts it to a precise decimal. You get the exact values for X1 and X2 without writing down a single step of calculation. Save this video for your next algebra exam. Work smarter, not harder.

Pol Vs Rec: Which one should we use? And why? They look very similar, but they are exact opposites. Formally, Pol is used to convert rectangular coordinates to Polar coordinates (Pol). And on the other hand, Rec is used to convert polar coordinates to Rectangular ones (Rec). A very common application of this is for working with vectors, to find the components of a force or of any vector. Here I explain an example of both uses.

Can you find √5329 without a calculator? 🧠 Most people grab their phone. But there's a 3-step method that's been around for centuries: Step 1 — Narrow it down 70² = 4900, 80² = 6400 So the root is between 70 and 80. Set a = 70. Step 2 — Find the remainder 5329 − 4900 = 429 Step 3 — Find b using the divisor (2a + b) 2(70) + b = 140 + b We need (140 + b) × b = 429 Try b = 3: 143 × 3 = 429 ✅ Answer: √5329 = 73 This is the algebraic long division method for square roots — the same process your calculator uses internally, just done by hand. Once you see the pattern, you can square-root any perfect square without touching a calculator. Save this — it'll blow your teacher's mind 📌
