Alright Huntsville… we did it. Two of my brave soldiers and I went to IKEA on opening day. I normally do NOT do opening days because I value my sanity 😅 but this one was actually really well run. For a smaller concept store, it still feels big enough to get the full IKEA experience. LOADS of great products. We’ve shopped the Atlanta and Minneapolis locations before and have always been impressed with the quality and pricing, and this one held up. Now ladies… tiny complaint. Two stalls in the women’s restroom on opening week? That felt bold. 😂 But truly that was the only inconvenience. And the Swedish meatballs. Listen. I remembered liking them. I forgot how good they actually are. Either they’ve improved them or I was just hungry, but they were fantastic. We went at noon. Walked the store comfortably. Ate lunch. Used the restroom. Bought a few things. Walked out at 1:23 PM. In and out in under an hour and a half on opening day? That’s impressive.
