Why I don’t teach my students the future tense at the very beginning? Cause in Russian it works like future simple (will do - буду делать) and like future perfect (will have done - сделаю). To know how to form “future perfect” in Russian we have to understand and to learn imperfective and perfective forms of the verbs and they all are different, they are formed with the help of different suffixes and prefixes. 🧼 Помою - “I will have washed it” 🍽️ Съем - “I will have eaten it”😹 👍я пойду завтра в зал - I’ll go to the gym tomorrow (“future perfect”) 👍Всё, завтра я иду в зал - okay I’ll go to the gym tomorrow/ I start going to the gym tomorrow (imperfective идти in present simple cause we talk about plans) 👍Всё, теперь я буду ходить в зал - okay now I’ll go to the gym/ I’ll be going to the gym from now on. How is it it going with your future tense in Russian? Do you put «буду» in every future tense sentence? 😁 #learnrussian #russianlanguage #russiantutor #russianteacher #russianlessons #russiannative #speakrussian #learnrussianlanguage #russianonline #russian #russiannativeteacher #russiannativetutor #russianlanguagetutor #authenticrussian #russianclasses #nataliachernovolskaia #наталиячерновольская #черновольская #russianlikeanative

Both ‘есть’ and ‘съесть’ mean ‘to eat’ in English. However, they are used in different situations. 🔹 ‘Есть’ is used to talk about the process of eating (it’s an imperfective verb). 🔹 ‘Съесть’ is used to say that you ate or will eat all of something (it’s a perfective verb). ❗ Note that ‘есть’ is commonly used in the present tense, while ‘съесть’ is mostly used in the past tense.
