Another favourite fruit of mine... jambu air 🍎💦 In English, it’s called wax apple, water apple, rose apple, or bell fruit (super confusing). But it’s not actually an apple. Fun fact: it’s made up of almost 90% water, which is why it’s so refreshing in the Malaysian heat ☀️ Best eaten chilled. In Perth there are many successful gardeners growing the smaller variety, which are commonly cut into rojak for the crunchy bite. But the big ones I've not come across. When grown well they are naturally sweeter, super crisp, and best eaten fresh on their own 😋.
