Your IDE isn’t just a text editor. It’s powered by millions of lines of code handling syntax highlighting, auto-completion, debugging, compiler support, Git integration, extensions, and AI tools. Even simple auto-suggestions rely on complex parsing engines. Software engineering at its finest. #programming #coding #softwareengineering #developer #tech

A piece of advice to every developer 👨‍💻 starting their journey with Node.js and Express.js: Don’t let the simplicity of Express deceive you into relying on copy-paste or over-using third-party packages for every minor detail. The real power lies in mastering the Middleware Pattern and understanding how the req and res objects flow through your pipeline. Instead of searching for a 'package' to solve every problem, learn how to build your own Global Error Handling and keep your Business Logic decoupled from your Routes. Remember: Anyone can write code that 'works,' but writing 'clean, scalable, and maintainable' code is what defines a true Software Engineer. 🛠️💻 #BackendDevelopment #NodeJS #ExpressJS #SoftwareEngineering #CleanCode

Your button is unemployed. Sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Taking up space. Looking clickable but delivering zero results. Time to hire it. Right now you can click that add button a thousand times. Nothing happens. It's not connected to anything. Just a pretty HTML element with no purpose. No brain. No instructions. No job. Let's change that. When a user clicks add, three things need to happen. First, grab whatever text is sitting in the input. Second, add that text to the todo list. Third, clear the input so it's ready for the next todo. One click triggers three actions. That requires a function. Functions live between your state declarations and your return statement. That's the space for logic. For brains. For things that DO stuff. You create a function called addTodo. Simple name. Describes exactly what it does. Inside the curly braces you write the instructions. First instruction: add the current todo to the list. You call setTodos. But here's the thing. You can't just add to an existing array in React. You have to create a brand new array that contains everything from before plus the new item. That's where the spread operator comes in. Three dots followed by the array name. It takes every item from the existing array and spreads them into the new one. Then you add your new todo at the end. Old items plus new item. Fresh array. State updates. Second instruction: clear the input. Call setTodo with an empty string. The input value resets to nothing. Clean slate. Ready for the user to type their next todo. Two lines of code. That's the entire function. Grab and add. Then clear. Simple logic that handles everything. But there's still a problem. The function exists. The button exists. They don't know about each other. Strangers in the same file. The button has no idea this function was written for it. We need to connect them. Introduce them. That's what onClick does. Comment "React" — I'll DM you the full roadmap 🚀 This reel is just the trailer. Full lesson 👉 www.projectschool.dev

Both versions work. But one scales. One doesn’t. Stop using any. Even a small inline type is better. Inline types are fine for quick usage. Interfaces are better for domain models. Code that works ≠ code that survives. Type safety isn’t optional in production code. #tech #programmer #devlife💻 #techcareers #newgrad

“Works” is a low bar. Real engineering asks: Can it scale? Can someone else understand it? Can it survive change? Working is temporary. Maintainable lasts. 🔖 Hashtags #programming #softwareengineering #coding #developer #webdevelopment #computerscience #cleancode #systemdesign
