Is Jazz boring? NO. There often a misconception that Jazz music is indecipherable music. That its practitioners stand on stage and play atonal, meanders sounds on their instruments. For some yes, this is the case but there is a whole genre of this music called early jazz or traditional jazz that tells a story through symphonic precision and spontaneous brilliance. That values the ensemble sound as well as the soloist. It was codified by composers, lyricists and instrumental technician who turned it into a world wide sensations. Jazz is one of the great Black American art forms and when you hear it done well you’ll know it!
