I wanted to try adding some colour to this distressed area. It’s not perfectly neat but I just thought I’d experiment before buying myself a mini mending loom. As I enjoyed the process so much, I’ve just ordered one. I think i will use it a lot so I’m looking forward to it arriving this week. This is probably one of my favorite larger projects I’ve done, on a pair of denim pants. I think colors fit although I didn’t plan it, I just chose and added them as I went. Lately I’ve done a lot of embroidery on black, but maybe it’s time to bring back some denim blues. For those of you who have been around for a while you might recognize this work, which is from a few months ago. I’m remixing them today because as some of you may know, I’m in a bit of wrist pain right now. Resting properly so I can make more intricate embroidery work, and getting new ideas while looking at old ones. 🖤
