My best bites in Kauai 🌺✨…and petition for you to book a trip here asap. I visited 22 years ago as a kid and honestly, not much has changed. The island still feels centered around nature & community. The food is fresh, healthy, and made with intention. Remember to tip well when you’re a visitor!! The things we saw here were magical! Insanely colourful fish, eels, corals, sea turtles, hawaiian monk seals, and more! A few things worth knowing before you go: • The beach has a naturally protected cove, which helps keep the water calmer than many other Kauai beaches. There are also lifeguards at this beach. • It is important to keep distance and stay behind the marked cones, if you’re in the water and a turtle approaches you, stay still or swim away as these are protected endangered species. Beyond snorkeling, Poipu is also a great place to relax, walk the waves, grab an iconic Puka Dog, and to watch sunrise!
