I used to not understand why anyone would want to knit socks. But then I saw an all-over colourwork sock with a sole gusset and I was sold - I had to become a sock knitter! 🧦 And since then my favourite construction is absolutely toe-up. There's so much to love about it, the ability to make them as long as you want as you go being one of them ✨ My pro tip? Make socks with a gusset and heel flap - those fit the best! P.S. Most of my patterns feature a gusset and heel flap, and it just happens that today's featured patterns are Auseklis and Rami Socks. ✨Knitting Tutorial: A quick demo of how I knit colorwork socks!✨ . ⭐️I use US Size 2 (2.75mm) tiny circs ~ I like the Chiagoo Twist with interchangeable 2” and 3” tips! I’ve found that working with tiny circulars where one needle is a little longer than the other helps with hand-cramping! ⭐️Keep your tension relaxed! Puckering on your fabric occurs when you pull your CC yarn too tight! ⭐️Don’t let your stitches get bunched up! Keep them spread out on your needles, otherwise you’ll get puckering! .
