No matter how many grammar structures you learn, if you donโ€™t have sufficient vocabulary, it will be hard to understand what you read. For flashcards I use 2 apps: ๐€๐๐Š๐ˆ and ๐Š๐๐Ž๐–๐“ If you are a beginner I recommend the app ๐˜๐”๐’๐๐„๐€๐Š (itโ€™s a better version of Duolingo๐Ÿ‘€) ๐ŸŒพ ๐†๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ ๐ŸŒพ Grammar is also very important in Korean.. and there is lots of grammar๐Ÿฅฒ I mainly use the YouTube channel ๐‹๐„๐€๐‘๐ ๐…๐‹๐˜ ๐‹๐Ž๐•๐„ But I also like @hellokorean1009 and @korean.by.tofu YouTube channels. For apps I use ๐Š๐†๐‘๐€๐Œ๐Œ๐€๐‘ If youโ€™d like to study with a course you can try @king.sejong.institute website and @quick_korean (both are free) ๐ŸŒป ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐ŸŒป Graded Readers which are stories written for language learners. There are many channels on YouTube and also on instagram. My favorite app for that is ๋‘๋ฃจ์ฑ…๋ฐฉ which is actually meant for Korean kids so itโ€™s fully in Korean. Also watching K-Dramas with dual subtitles and watching native content on YouTube :) If you like Korean songs you can look at the lyrics and study with them, although I donโ€™t find it very helpful itโ€™s very fun๐Ÿคญ Podcasts! I currently listen to @choisusu_korean itโ€™s honestly perfect ๐Ÿคฉ itโ€™s also on YouTube with subs! ๐Ÿชป๐“๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ๐Ÿชป 1. Learn the Hangul first and try to not use romanization at all!๐Ÿ˜ฎ 2. Try to have fun!๐Ÿคญ Learning a language can be a tedious process but if you have motivation and the right mind set you are on the right track! 3. Donโ€™t force yourself too much!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ When it comes to watching native content whether that be dramas or YT videos. Donโ€™t force yourself to make it a study opportunity. If you donโ€™t feel like studying and you simply want to watch an episode of a drama, do it and donโ€™t feel bad for not studying and โ€œwasting timeโ€โ€ผ๏ธ Honestly it will just make you hate studying๐Ÿฅฒ (You can still have dual subtitles on though) 4. Try to take level tests every now and then๐Ÿ˜Š Itโ€™s so fun seeing progress! I use @king.sejong.institute website. Thatโ€™s it๐Ÿคญ hope this was helpful๐Ÿ’• good luck!!!๐Ÿ€ ๐Ÿ“Œ Save this post for future reference

โ“ how to study math like Korean students who make it look easy ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท 1๏ธโƒฃ Build strong basics first - Korean students put a lot of emphasis on mastering fundamental concepts before moving on. 2๏ธโƒฃ Practice smart and frequently - They donโ€™t just solve the same problems; they increase variation and difficulty over time to deepen understanding. 3๏ธโƒฃ Use โ€œerror notesโ€ - When they get something wrong, they write down the mistake, understand why it happened, and create a new problem around it so they can fix it fully. 4๏ธโƒฃ Study with structure and consistency - Their days are often long and scheduled: school, hagwons (after-school academies), then self-study late into the evening. 5๏ธโƒฃ Mix independent work with peer or academy support - While they do a lot of self-study, they also make use of extra coaching and group study to stay sharp. ๐Ÿ“Hereโ€™s a daily routine inspired by how students in Korea structure their study-heavy days: ๐Ÿ—’๏ธ๐Ÿ”’ โ€ข 6:00 AM โ†’ Wake up โ€ข 6:30 AM โ†’ Have breakfast and get ready for school. โ€ข 7:30 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM โ†’ Attend school classes (stay focused during lessons). โ€ข 4:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 PM โ†’ Go to a โ€œhagwonโ€ (after-school academy) or library for extra study. โ€ข 6:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 PM โ†’ Dinner and short rest time. โ€ข 7:00 PM โ€“ 10:00 PM โ†’ Self-study session at home or in study room (review, practice, mock tests). โ€ข After 10:00 PM โ†’ Wind down and sleep early to recharge for tomorrow. ๐Ÿ’ฌ follow @tmnzstudy for more study tips and schedules.

โฌ‡๏ธREAD CAPTION๐Ÿ’š Here are some tips to help you with learning Korean๐Ÿฅฐ 1๏ธโƒฃ DICTIONARIES Choose the right dictionaries. Google translator is not a really good tool..๐Ÿ˜•โŒ Instead, I recommend using Papago and Naver Dictionary๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’š 2๏ธโƒฃ STORIES Everyone loves stories.๐Ÿฅฐ Thereโ€™s a great example from 90 Day Korean: ์ฑ…์ƒ (chaeksang) means โ€œdeskโ€. Imagine thereโ€™s a student named Sang. He wants his homework to be always 100% correct. So he goes back to check (์ฑ… - chaek) it.๐Ÿ˜ Sang checks his homework at his โ€œ์ฑ…์ƒโ€ (chaeksang) 3๏ธโƒฃ HANGUL Itโ€™s very important to learn Hangul (Korean alphabet) and pronunciation right at the beginning, so you should drop the romanization as quickly as possible. 4๏ธโƒฃ CULTURE Understanding Korean culture is VERY important. (Especially if you want to study or work in Korea). In most languages, there is not such a big social (and language) hierarchy. If you think itโ€™s not important to differentiate all the levels of politeness when speaking to someone and you use casual Korean when speaking to elders, you may sound very rude. Or on the other hand, if you ONLY use the highest possible level of politeness no matter who youโ€™re speaking with, you may sound unnatural and stiff. 5๏ธโƒฃ GRAMMAR Grammar is important in every language. Without learning it, you canโ€™t really communicate. I think I donโ€™t really have to explain this one.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š #koreanlanguage #koreanlanguageclass #koreanlanguagelearning #korean #koreanstudy #koreanstudygram
