So what exactly is a pyrography print? I'm a pyrography artist (also referred to as woodburning) and I love to create large-scale, intricate worlds of my favourite things in nature on salvaged wood. While I sell all of my originals, I've always wanted to offer a print version so that even when the original artwork finds its home, it can continue to live on and be enjoyed by everyone in a more affordable (yet still insanely good quality) option! Once the original woodburning is complete, I take it over to my local fine art print shop and they get a super High-Resolution capture of it. There's often some fine tuning we do to get it to look exactly like the original, and from there it is ready to be sent off to a massive, state of the art printer that uses archival inks (which means pigmented colours and lasting quality).
