Lemongrass grows fast, so I give it a good trim each spring. This clears out any frost damage, keeps it at a manageable size, and encourages a fresh flush of leaves. I’m cutting mine back to about a foot tall and removing any dead or dried-out stalks. Don’t toss those trimmed stalks—use them fresh or dry them for later.
