Lightroom Mobile Masking Tips You NEED to Know 📱🔥 If you're not using masking in Lightroom Mobile, you're missing powerful edits. Here’s how to level up: 1. Use “Select Subject” First Masking → Select Subject. Slightly brighten your subject. Tap Invert and darken the background for instant depth. 2. Use “Select Sky” for Landscapes Masking → Select Sky. Lower highlights, add dehaze, and adjust temperature slightly. 3. Brush with Low Flow Increase feather for soft edges. Lower flow and build adjustments slowly for natural results. 4. Create Multiple Masks Use separate masks for face, hair, background, clothes, and sky. Cleaner edits = professional look. 5. Use Color Range Masking → Color Range. Tap the color you want to adjust (sky, clothes, background). Refine with the Amount slider. 6. Use Luminance Range Great for fixing blown highlights or adjusting only shadows without affecting everything. 7. Use Face Detection for Portraits Select face areas like skin and eyes. Lightly brighten eyes. Slightly reduce skin texture. Keep it natural. 8. Use Linear Gradient for Better Lighting Drag from one side to create directional light. Darken foreground or add warmth for a cinematic feel. 9. Check Your Mask Overlay Tap the mask to see the red overlay. Zoom in and clean edges if needed. 10. Think Depth, Not Brightness Brighten subject. Darken background. Add subtle vignette. Save this and try it on your next edit 🔥 #photography #lightroom #madewithlightroom #adobelightroom #lightroommobile

SEE MORE… . . have you ever try these filters? yap! actually this is not my first time, this combo is really recommended for city ambience video, this one will give you an instant dark forest look! but using 1 filter for all isn’t my thing, i have to get more flexibility during the color grading, and i combined it with one of my favorite filters. And here are some tips: If you’re still questioning how to add 2 or more filters into 1 clip using @capcutapp , let me explain. 1. If you’re using CapCut mobile, click at your video then duplicate, then click one of the video then look for overlay, then click overlay 2. After you click overlay, make sure you have 2 clips at the same length of time. after that, click Mask, then select the area from the clip that you want to differentiate. 3. Now you have 2 exact same video with double layer, then you can put different filters or color settings. But please, note that those adjustments (brightness, contrast etc.) are not the same on every clips! you need to match the lighting & color tone on your video. here’s some tips to improve your editing skills, especially in terms of color grading : - use masking tool to make some different ambiences in selected areas, you can also add more filters or LUT to your selective area using masking tool. this is how i put 2 different filters into 1 video. - use HSL to change some selective colors, i strengthen the green colors & apply more lights on the skin tone. - and the last one, if you didn’t like my adjustment, you still able to change its mood using curves & color wheel to increase or decrease the RGB’s atmospheres as you like. thank me later 😉 SAVE THIS VIDEO IF YOU LIKE 👍 #capcut #capcutedit #capcuttutorial #capcuttemplate #capcuteditor #cinematic #cinematiclook #cinematicmodeon #shotoniphone #videography #videogram #videoedits #videotips #editing #editingtips #editingtutorial #fyp #tutorial #colorgrading #colorcorrection #gameoftones #agameoftones #mobilevideography #tipsandtricks #darkaesthetic #nature #naturevideos #naturelovers

Lightroom Basics Panel in 60 seconds ✨ If you’re new to Lightroom, THIS is where you start. The Basics panel sets the entire foundation of your edit — your exposure, color, depth, and overall vibe. Here’s the exact order I use every time: 1️⃣ Exposure (skin first, background later) 2️⃣ White Balance (temp + tint for natural tones) 3️⃣ Contrast (keep it soft!) 4️⃣ Highlights + Shadows (fix lighting + add balance) 5️⃣ Whites + Blacks (micro contrast + glow) 6️⃣ Presence (texture, clarity, vibrance — small changes!) If you want to add COLOR + STYLE after this, 👉 go watch my color grading tutorial from last week. Next week we’re diving into Masking 101 to fix blown backgrounds + make your subject pop ✨ 💾 Save this to practice later! 👇 Comment “Part 3” if you’re learning Lightroom with me. what would you like to see next? #lightroomtutorial #lightroombasics #lightroomtips #learnwithme #photographyeducation #editingworkflow #utahphotographer #chasingrobinsmedia #photographytips #lightroombeginner

Don’t be afraid to crop & use the straighten tool to make sure things are aligned. Tip 2: Colour: I used a base preset and set it to half strength. Ultilize the HSL sliders & colour grading, keep testing and find the colours that fit your style. I sometimes re-edit and look at photos with fresh eyes to really nail the edit ✍🏼 Tip 3: Masks: Use the masking tools, Linear gradients, Radial Gradients to bring out more of the natural light of the photo. Also remove any unwanted distractions from the photo using the healing tool. Tip 4: Quality: To increase the quality of an image if it needs it I use the detail panel, sharpening, noise reduction. If I need an extra boost I will use an app called ‘Pixel Up’ which is great for enhancing the quality. Tip 5: In camera: shoot RAW & get the settings and composition as right as you can before post production.
