Ein Zuhause für Generationen – Architektur mit Seele in Berlin-Nikolassee In Berlin-Nikolassee entsteht ein Haus, das zeitlose Eleganz und moderne Klarheit in Einklang bringt. Inspiriert von der Berliner „Kaffeemühle“ und neu interpretiert mit neoklassischen Details, fügt es sich harmonisch in seine Umgebung ein – als wäre es schon immer hier gewesen. Die Fassade überzeugt durch feine Gesimse, die Struktur und Leichtigkeit verleihen. Schwarze Fensterläden und elegante Fenster setzen markante Highlights und betonen die ausgewogene Symmetrie. Besonders eindrucksvoll: die rote Rundbogen-Haustür – ein Statement, das Charakter zeigt und Gäste herzlich empfängt. Der großzügige Balkon erweitert den Wohnraum ins Freie, spendet Schatten und sorgt zugleich für ein angenehmes Raumklima. What happens when an architect designs their own home? This is Le Corbusier’s apartment-studio in Paris - the top floors of Immeuble Molitor in the 16th arrondissement. Built in 1934, it was the first all-glass residential building ever made and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site that you can visit by appointment through Fondation Le Corbusier. Le Corbusier basically invented modern architecture alongside other greats like Mies van der Rohe, Walter Gropius, and Frank Lloyd Wright - but his own space feels nothing like the cold minimalism you might expect. #architecture #design #brutalism

This architectural animation shows the new 102,000 ft² Yukon Gathering Place, the Yukon’s first purpose-built convention centre in Whitehorse. Led by Chu Níikwän LP (CNLP), the development corporation of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation (KDFN) @kwanlindunfn, the project is set to open in 2028. Co-designed by architecture firms @Kasiandesign and @s.no_arch, with @wildstoneconstruction as construction partner, this facility will host up to 1,000 people, doubling the local convention capacity, while providing a sustainable and community focused hub for cultural and economic growth. For the Kwanlin Dün First Nation the Yukon Gathering Place site carries profound cultural, historical and ecological significance. In 1968 he co-founded the architects’ cooperative Coop Himmelb(l)au, which has an international reputation as an important representative of deconstructivism. Wolf Prix’ father was an architect; Wolf looked over his father’s shoulder in the office. Questo affascinante complesso residenziale viene realizzato tra la metà degli anni ‘70 e i primi anni ‘80 in una delle cinque città sorte intorno a Parigi grazie alla politica delle Villes Nouvelles, Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines. Si tratta del primo grande progetto in Francia per Ricardo Bofill (RBTA), il quale si lascia ispirare, a livello formale e distributivo, dai giardini alla francese, caratterizzati da una forte simmetria e da grande rigore geometrico. Les arcades du lac è un’opera che mescola sapientemente architettura, urbanistica e paesaggio, con gli appartamenti che sono posti ai margini di un lago artificiale che diventa il vero fulcro del progetto, nonché un luogo fondamentale per la quotidianità dei residenti.
