Your light was never meant to live in a jar. I learned that the hard way. For a long time, I tried to gather all of my light and hand it to others, hoping it would prove my loyalty. But I’ve learned this No human deserves the kind of loyalty that belongs to Jesus first. God didn’t give us light so it could be hidden, controlled, or taken. He gave it to us so it could spread. Like fireflies escaping a jar, some lights were always meant to rise and fill the sky. So be careful who you try to give all your light to. Not everyone is meant to hold it. Let it shine through your words. Through your actions. Through the truth you carry in your heart. Because the light inside of you was placed there by God.
