Where to eat in Glasgow⤵️Let’s check out @sugopastaglasgow for the best fresh pasta in town! If you’re solo in Glasgow, this Italian restaurant is a must-visit! Known as THE pasta spot in Glasgow, it’s always buzzing with people. No reservations allowed, and there’s usually a long queue, even though it’s a large space! I got lucky on a Monday and was seated in just 5 minutes. They offer changing pasta specials alongside their regular fresh pasta menu. It’s hard to choose, so I went for two pastas (though one portion is more than enough for one). I tried the Tagliolini with pesto, green beans, and potato (Number 2) and the Fettuccine in a spicy pork and nduja ragu (Number 7), both topped with generous Grana Padano cheese. If you’re looking for a quick bite or an amazing pasta experience in Glasgow, Sugo is a must-try. Day off = lunch in the East End of Glasgow 🙌 Today I headed to Keeks East End, a brand new spot in the heart of the East End, and honestly… this place deserves to blow up. I tried two of their packed-to-the-brim sandwiches — fresh ingredients, serious flavour, and proper portions. The kind of sandwiches that are messy in the best possible way. No skimping here. To finish? A lemon drizzle muffin that was ridiculously good, and of course it had to be washed down with a classic can of Irn-Bru 🧡 Keeks has only recently opened and is still flying under the radar on social media. It’s run by a young couple who are putting real passion into what they’re doing- exactly the kind of independent Glasgow business we should be supporting. Brunch spot you must try in Glasgow 🍳 I recently tried this brunch spot after seeing it all over social media and it certainly lived up to expectations! My partner went for the Breakfast Potatoes which had a bit of a kick to it and I went for the Steak and Eggs. The meat was so tender and I loved how crispy the hash browns were!
