I spent almost an hour just sitting around this area admiring the scenery. This is the 📍Northface Trail in Mürren, Switzerland and it completely exceeded our expectations ✨ 💌 Share this with someone you want to hike here with! We started at the Flower Playground in Allmendhubel and followed the trail signs, ending at the Schilthorn Cableway station. The hike is about 4.5 miles depending on your route and detours. The trail is well-marked and manageable with kids, with some elevation along the way. What makes it so special? 🏔️ Unreal views of the Jungfrau region the entire time, including the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks 🌼 Wildflowers and alpine scenery everywhere 🐐 Cows, goats, farms and small houses along the trail It’s one of those hikes where the views just keep getting better the entire way. Details 👇 Welcome to the famous Mürren Via Ferrara. With its famous 600m of vertical drop in its most exposed areas this will test your nerves. There are lots of Obsticals to overcome on your route including Wire Bridges, Suspension Bridges, the exposed sections. All while taking in the amazing views across the valley to Jungfraujoch and the other mountains. Technically not the most challenging it is a great introduction in to the sport.
