(sold out) 2322 . 90 x 70 cm rope, linen yarn . 작고 단순한 매듭들을 만들어 하나씩 쌓아간다 하나의 매듭은 점이지만 질서를 지키며 천천히 반복되는 과정 속에서 선이 되고 면이 되어 형태를 만든다 모든 것들이 말도 안 될 정도로 빨라지고 편해지며 오직 결과만을 보는 세상이지만 나는 느리고 불편하고 투박한 길을 간다 생략할 수 없는 그 시간의 가치를 중요시 여기며 손에 직접 와닿는 과정의 마찰을 느끼는 것이 내게는 가장 정직한 존재의 증명을 준다 좋았던 순간도 그렇지 않았던 시간에도 매듭의 쌓임은 멈추지 않았다 흐름은 느리고 종종 불안하며 이해받기 어려웠지만 반복된 매듭들은 어느새 형태가 된다 완성된 형태는 처음 상상했던 모습과 다를 때가 많다 그러나 그 안에는 시간과 감정의 축적 그리고 포기하지 않고 계속 매듭지어 온 나의 태도가 남아 있다 이 과정을 수행자의 마음으로, 하나의 삶으로 받아들인다 멈추지 않고 이어가는 일, 그 지속된 흔적을 숫자라는 정직한 기록으로 매듭짓고 다음 매듭을 짓는다 각 작품의 제목은 매듭이 들어간 숫자의 합이다 . I create small simple knots and stack them one by one While a single knot is but a point through a slow and orderly repetition it evolves into a line then a plane and finally a form In a world that moves at an impossible pace—prioritizing convenience and valuing only the final result—I choose a path that is slow uncomfortable and crude I cherish the value of time that cannot be skipped Feeling the physical friction of the manual process against my hands provides me with the most honest proof of my existence Through moments of joy and times of hardship alike the accumulation of knots never ceased The flow was slow often unstable and difficult to understand yet these repeated knots eventually coalesced into a form The finished form often differs from what I first imagined However within it remains the accumulation of time and emotion and my steadfast attitude of never giving up on the process of knotting I embrace this process with the heart of a practitioner viewing it as life itself I record these continuous traces as numbers—an honest ledger of my journey—finishing one piece only to begin the next . The title of each work is the mathematical sum of the knots that compose it
