4 step skin prep routine against patchy and cakey makeup ✨ Exfoliate 1-2 times a week. The mousse exfoliant from @caudalie is very mild but effective. It didn’t make my skin feel sensitive, just smooth and more even. Leave in on for minimum 30s. The acids will soften and break up the dead cells making it easy to wash off. Cleanse. The gel micellar cleanser from @indybeautysweden removes the dead skin from the exfoliant, hydrates and soothes the skin. Wash of with water after. Moisturise. I use Cicaplast from @larocheposay for added moisture and nourishment. It also calms the skin and I love to leave a thick layer over night as a mask. If you’re oily or acne prone, use a lighter gel moisturiser. Lastly, I add an eyeserum. @lorealparis Revitalift eyeserum adds moisture to the often dry and sensitive eye area. The caffeine makes the skin look brighter. Makeup lays beautifully on top of this eyeserum. And never forget the SPF. As I usually wash of my makeup after filming (if I don’t have anywhere to go). That’s why I usually doesn’t show this step in my videos. You can use cicaplast spf 50 instead of the original or any other of your liking. @klairs.global airy spf works great over skincare and under makeup.
