Hot Honey Chicken Tenders Recipe ⬇️ These crispy fried tenders are tossed in a sweet-heat glaze and dipped in a homemade Hot Honey Ranch. Marinade 🔶 8 chicken tenders 🔶 Salt 🔶 Pepper 🔶 1 tsp garlic powder 🔶 1 tsp onion powder 🔶 1 tsp cayenne pepper 🔶 1 tsp chili powder 🔶 1 tsp smoked paprika 🔶 2–3 tbsp Buffalo Hot Sauce 🔶 2 cups buttermilk Breading 🔶 2 cups all-purpose flour 🔶 ½ cup cornstarch 🔶 2–3 tsp garlic powder 🔶 2–3 tsp onion powder 🔶 2–3 tsp cayenne pepper 🔶 2–3 tsp chili powder 🔶 2–3 tsp smoked paprika Frying 🔶 Neutral oil for frying (about 2 quarts) Heat to 350°F and fry tenders for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy. Hot Honey Glaze 🔶 3 tbsp butter 🔶 1 clove garlic, minced 🔶 1 tsp smoked paprika 🔶 ¼ cup Original Hot Honey 🔶 ¼ cup Sriracha Hot Honey 🔶 ¼ cup Hot Sauce Melt butter, sauté garlic, then stir in the rest. Let it bubble for 1–2 minutes and toss in the tenders. You can then cut it into 4 pieces for perfect marination. For the marinade, blend together: 🧅 1 full onion 🧄 1 pod garlic 🫚 A small piece of ginger 🌶️ 1 tsp peppercorn 🌶️ 2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder 🥄 1 tsp garam masala 🥄 1 tsp coriander powder 🍋 2 tbsp vinegar + juice of half a lemon 🌿 1 cardamom, few mint & coriander leaves, 1–2 green chillies, and salt to taste. Blend into a fine paste and coat the chicken well. Marinate for at least 3 hours (I left mine overnight for 15 hours 😋). Now for the cheese sauce 🧀 In a saucepan, heat 2 tbsp butter → add 2 finely chopped garlic cloves. When golden, add 1 tbsp flour and cook well. Then pour in 300 ml fresh cream, 1 cup mozzarella, and ½ cup cheddar (or any cheese you like). Stir till it becomes thick and creamy. Time to cook the chicken! 🍗 In a pan, heat a little oil and butter, roast the marinated chicken, and press it slightly so it stays juicy.
