Today is a proud mommy moment for me! Look what I got out of the mailbox. Congratulations are in order for my son, Quentin H Merritt who received his Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University. Its been a fantastic year watching him attend conferences in Chicago and Los Angeles to share his work and travel to Italy for a 3-week intensive on Quantum Computing. I'm so proud of his accomplishments and ask God to continue to order his steps as he pursues his academic and professional endeavors. Cheers to you son! I love you! #proudmommymoment

Yesterday, we were thrilled to host the Aerospace Careers Programme at Merchant Taylors’ 🚀🪐 The day was packed with presentations on emerging technologies such as AI, quantum computing, and virtual reality. Students from Merchant Taylors’ were joined by peers from @chesterfieldhigh, Holy Family High School, and @sacredhrtcrosby. They had the exciting opportunity to experience a Boston Dynamics robot and even see a replica NASA space suit. The event included VR headsets, robotics demonstrations, and industry experts who answered questions from both pupils and teachers. A huge thank you to all who joined us for what was a wonderful day.

IQC welcomes 26 students who are spending the next two weeks here for the Undergraduate School on Experimental Quantum Information Processing! USEQIP gives undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about the theoretical and experimental study of quantum information. The program is supported by the MITACS Globalink Internship and the Canada First Research Excellence Fund as part of the Transformative Quantum Technologies research initiative.
