In 2023, I did something that quietly changed my entire life. I pressed post…. I started sharing my life midly online, and yes, it felt terrifying at the time. What began as a “let’s just give this a go” turned into building a business that now supports my family… while still allowing me to put them first. Content creation became the career I didn’t even realise I was searching for. But my 10 year old self knew. The one who dreamed of being a flight attendant, but loved videography, editing, and telling stories through a lens. And it all started with deciding to stop caring what anyone thought. Now I get to work with brands you all know and love; like LSKD, Macro Mike, Muscle Mat, Voomie, Amazon and more, doing work that genuinely feels aligned. And the best part? I’m still present as possible to be a mum and wife. All the chaos and magic that mum life brings. The Vine snake is simply one of the most beautiful snakes around. Although they are midly venomous and can subdue small prey like lizards and birds, they are harmless to humans. There are so many misconceptions about them. It is said that they gouge out your eyes, enter your ears, and are even said to make a hole in your head. Well, firstly, there is nothing interesting in your head, for the snake to want to be in it. These snakes are arboreal and spend most of their lives in trees. They are very delicate snakes, and even though their mouth is pointed, it is not hard. There is no way they could make a hole in your skull even if they wanted to. Vine snakes depend highly on their camoflage for protection against predators. They are also very defensive snakes, and if threatened, they will strike with their mouth open. This is only meant as a warning. If a person is walking under a tree, the closest part of your body to the snake would be your head. And that's probably how the myth of these snakes attacking the head or eyes came about. This used to be a very common snake, even in urban areas. But with the rapid decrease in tree canopy, their numbers are rapidly decreasing (just my observation) Illustration by @artbybu

I know this won’t really make sense to you, how I describe it… but what I hope you find is safety in my words, and an inspiring hand to give yourself a little grace when you feel a little crazy.

I’m truly honored that 55,000 people are here to explore the curiosities of the natural world with me, and we’re only getting started. Now I am a very goofy and fun loving-guy, but in regards to my goals for this page, I am a gorilla in a cage.
