I had the beautiful opportunity to serve a mission for the church of Jesus Christ in the Portland Oregon Mission with my primary assignment in the temple visitors’ center💛🌧️🌈 While on my mission I dwelt with the death of a loved one, Covid, forest fires and ice storms. I also managed feelings of self hatred, fear of failure and self doubt. God and my Savior Jesus Christ are what got me through it, and my mission ended up being the most transformative and joyful experience of my life. I learned to grow from my imperfections and have greater self compassion, as well as the joy it truly is to be an instrument in God’s hands. I thank God every day for the gift of my mission. There were things I wish I have known and things I wish I had done before I left though!! That is what the purpose of my page is.
