For those of you who don’t know, I was born with a rare neurological disorder called Moebius Syndrome It only effects 1 person in every 3 to 4 million and is essentially like facial paralysis (or free Botox or as I like to refer to it 😂) - I talk about it a lot and usually answer most questions about it over on @tiktok @tiktok_australia but I feel like Instagram doesn’t allow the same sort of freedom and space to talk about it like Tik Tok allows you to and the ability you have to spread awareness and educate is a lot easier over there, however, I haven’t talked about here on IG in a while so thought I’d start the year off with a bit of education If you have any Q’s then feel free to ask awayyy, I’m a completely open book! Moebius didn’t draw worlds. He summoned them. Places that made no sense and didn’t have to. Deserts that stretched forever under alien suns, where cloaked figures floated instead of walked and time didn’t move in a straight line. His landscapes weren’t backdrops. They were living, breathing contradictions. A single panel could feel like a lifetime spent in silence. You don’t look at Moebius to understand. You look to feel disoriented, humbled, and strangely at peace, like you’ve been let in on a secret the universe wasn’t sure you were ready for. His art didn’t ask permission from physics, and it sure as heck didn’t care about logic. Moebius operated on dream rules. Gravity was optional. Perspective was a suggestion. His lines were impossibly clean, like the thoughts of a god in a quiet mood. These weren’t sci-fi fantasies. They were visions. Psychedelic, spiritual, sometimes funny, always unnerving. Somewhere between the Nostromo and the Sulco in time. But definately a war ship. It has ports for deplying fighters and dropships as well as orbital weapon mounts. I like the odd engine design of bot Alien ships, so I combined some of the aesthetics here. It’s still missing some texture cleanup and some decals and all, but I am leaving this as done for now.
