Lake Conroe Texas definitely has the yacht club dining vibes. ⛵️ 😁❤️‍🔥 The weather was incredibly beautiful yesterday and that's the way it should be.🌤 I get asked a lot about the weather here in the vicinity of Montgomery and The Woodlands, Texas by Lake Conroe: we have mild winters (meaning I still go outside frequently in the winter without layers and layers of clothes). From October to May it is normally quite pleasant (50's to 70's average) June to September are the hot, sticky months but I would say 8/12 months are nice minus a few days here and there of cold snaps. We get a lot more rain than most parts of Texas, and it feels more tropical which makes everything stay green year round! Truthfully, it's perfect weather to enjoy boating year round in Montgomery, Texas and has tons of outdoor activities like pickle ball, tennis, biking, walking trails, swimming, and more. 3 things I wish I knew before moving to Midlothian, TX: 1️⃣ Small-town charm is real here. Friday night lights, holiday parades, and running into people you actually know at the grocery store just hits different. 2️⃣ You don’t have to give up space to stay close to DFW. More land, quieter nights, and still an easy drive when you want city things. 3️⃣ The downside? Everyone knows everything 😅 Forget “quick errands” — be ready for at least two conversations and a wave or five. Would I do it again? 100% yes.
