Improve your core stability and coordination #trending #core drills #viral #coreconditioning #corechallenge

Why train the core ? The “core” includes much more than abs: • Deep stabilizers (like the transverse abdominis) • Obliques (rotation + anti-rotation) • Lower back muscles • Glutes and even parts of your hips Crunches train a muscle. Core exercises train a system. If your goal is strength, longevity, and real performance—core training wins every time. Some “Core Inspiration!” #fitness #core #workout #fitness

The Core - 5 things you probably haven’t considered Your core isn’t built for crunches. It’s built for this. Most people think core training means sit-ups and planks. But your core has three main jobs, and none of them are what you think. Anti-flexion. Resisting the urge to round forward or to the side. Think of every hour you spend hunched at a desk. Your core should be fighting that. Exercises like back extension isometrics and Pallof presses train exactly this. Anti-extension. Resisting the urge to arch through your lower back. Every time your lower back takes over in a squat or press, it’s because your core isn’t doing its job here. Hollow body holds and ab wheel rollouts are your friend. Rotation. Your core controls and creates rotation through your spine. But it also resists unwanted rotation. Landmine rotations, cable chops, single arm carries. These are where real core strength lives. Anti lateral flexion. Resisting the urge to lean and fall to the side. Think about them times you’re carrying uneven weight in each arm, the lean on the heavier side starts to place pressure the lower back. Side planks and single arm carries will keep you upright and secure Lateral flexion. Leaning to the side with smooth control and strength. Always feel restricted when leaning to the side? Missing that smooth spinal curve and instead feeling an angled lean digging into your ribcage? Do you also feel uneasy when carrying asymmetrical loads? Roman chair or Swiss ball lateral flexion drills will let you discover that movement and strengthen your obliques to keep you upright under uneven load. Sit-ups won’t fix your back pain. They won’t fix your posture. They won’t make you stronger in the movements that matter. Training your core for what it’s actually designed to do will. Follow for more training that actually makes sense for your body. #coretraining #movementcoach #functionalfitness #backpain #personaltrainer
