Static equilibrium in an unstable position. The board is held by two counterweights via a pulley system arranged so the sum of moments around any point equals zero. Key detail: counterweights hang above the support point, creating a "virtual" support above the board. The system stays stationary until an external force (hand weight, air push) breaks the balance. The Bank of England in the 1920s used a similar trick: gold bars balanced by hidden weights via pulleys, so a thief couldn't tell real bars from hollow replicas — pulling a real bar without shifting the counterweight was impossible. Also used in the Harringworth Viaduct and Hubble Telescope suspensions. Center of gravity of the "board + counterweight" system sits directly above the support, just slightly higher — creating the levitation illusion. A counterweight 50 grams off, and the whole thing collapses in 0.3 seconds. Video author unknown. If you are the author (or rights holder), please contact us. #physics #engineering #facts #newton

Isaac Newton is famous for physics, but he was also deeply religious and spent more time on theology than science. He kept his beliefs secret because they were illegal in 1600s England. Newton rejected the Trinity In Newton's reading of the Bible, there is exactly one God: the Father. Jesus Christ was the Messiah, the Son of God, sent by the Father, but not God Himself. Newton thought the doctrine of the Trinity – that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are co-equal and co-eternal as one God – had no basis in early Christianity. He spent years studying ancient manuscripts and concluded that key verses like 1 John 5:7 were later additions to support Trinitarianism. To him, worship belongs only to the supreme God, the Father. So worshipping Jesus as if he were that God was idolatry. Idolatry = giving God’s worship to a created being*: Newton called himself a “unitarian” in private. He believed Jesus was created by God before the world, given divine power and authority, and was worthy of honor and obedience. But worship, meaning prayer and sacrifice offered as to the supreme deity, was for the Father alone. In Newton’s manuscripts he wrote: “We must not pray to two Gods.” He saw Catholic and Anglican practice of praying to Christ, saints, and using “God the Son” language as breaking the First Commandment. In his eyes, that was the same sin as pagan idol worship – misdirecting worship away from the one true God. England’s 1689 Toleration Act excluded anti-Trinitarians. Publicly denying the Trinity could cost Newton his Cambridge professorship and get him tried for heresy. So he published _Principia_ and _Opticks_, but his theological papers stayed locked up. Only after his death did scholars find writings like _An Historical Account of Two Notable Corruptions of Scripture_ where he laid out this case. For Newton, science revealed God’s design, but worshipping Christ as God corrupted true religion. #newton #science #jesus #fyp

The force that holds the universe together! 🌌✨ Did you know that every single thing in the universe—from the smallest pebble to the largest star—is constantly pulling on everything else? This is Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation in action. In this video, you’re seeing a demonstration of the famous Cavendish experiment, which was the first time we ever measured the tiny gravitational pull between objects right here on Earth. It’s mind-blowing to think that the same math explaining why an apple falls to the ground is exactly what keeps the moon in orbit and galaxies spinning. Science is truly the ultimate magic! 🍎🪐 #Physics #Newton #Gravity #ScienceExperiment #spacelovers

From falling apples to collapsing stars, science is the story of how we learned to understand everything. Isaac Newton turned motion into laws, building Classical Mechanics that explained the world we could see. Then Albert Einstein bent reality itself with relativity, showing that space and time are not fixed—but dynamic, giving rise to phenomena like Black Holes. Between these scales lies everything—electricity and magnetism shaping modern civilization, atoms and quantum physics defining the unseen, and astrophysics revealing a universe far beyond imagination. From the smallest particles to the largest galaxies, every discovery builds on the last, turning curiosity into knowledge, and knowledge into power. This isn’t just subjects or theories—it’s one continuous journey to decode reality itself. “From laws… to light… to the universe.” #Science #Physics #Einstein #Newton #Astrophysics #BlackHoles #Electricity #Magnetism #QuantumPhysics #ClassicalMechanics #Cosmos #Universe #Discovery #Innovation #STEM #ViralReels #ContentCreator

Continuity Equation ✍️ It is the mathematical expression of a simple but powerful idea: what flows in must flow out (unless it’s stored). In fluid dynamics, the continuity equation describes the conservation of mass within a flowing fluid. It ensures that matter is neither magically created nor destroyed as it moves. Imagine water flowing through a pipe that narrows. As the pipe becomes thinner, the water speeds up. Why? Because the same amount of water must pass through every cross-section of the pipe each second. If less area is available, the fluid must move faster to keep the flow rate constant. This relationship is captured in its simplest form: A_1 v_1 = A_2 v_2 Here, represents cross-sectional area and represents fluid velocity. When the area decreases, velocity increases proportionally. In its most general form, the continuity equation is written as: \nabla \cdot (\rho \mathbf{v}) + \frac{\partial \rho}{\partial t} = 0 This equation states that any change in density inside a region must be balanced by mass flowing into or out of that region. For incompressible fluids (like water at ordinary speeds), the density stays constant, and the equation simplifies to: \nabla \cdot \mathbf{v} = 0 The continuity equation is fundamental in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and even astrophysics. From blood flowing through arteries to air rushing over airplane wings, it quietly governs how matter moves through space — ensuring balance in motion. #physics #science #alberteinstein #newton #amazing

Sir Isaac Newton independently developed calculus in the mid-1660s, calling his approach the "method of fluxions" to calculate rates of change and tangent lines. While Newton was first, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz independently developed his own version, creating the modern notation used today. #space #trending #sir #newton #mustsee

Every object with mass attracts every other object. This invisible force is gravity — the reason apples fall, planets orbit, and galaxies stay bound. The Cavendish-style experiment helps measure the tiny gravitational pull between objects on Earth. The same law works from pebbles to stars. This is Newton’s Cannonball. It’s the secret to how every satellite, including the ISS, stays in the sky without "floating." They are in a state of permanent free-fall. 🛰️ Orbital Velocity: 28,000 km/h. This is the speed required to "fall" around the curve of the Earth. 🎢 Escape Velocity: 40,000 km/h. The speed needed to leave Earth and head for Mars or beyond. 🚀 Would you rather stay in orbit or escape to the stars? 🌌 . . . #science #Newton #Astrophysics #Stargazing #astronomy
