New! Nike Stride Half Tights! For the first time in what seems like ages, Nike has released an all new model of half tights! This is part of the Nike "Stride" collection which is technical, performance-oriented running gear, but not quite the all-out, minimal weight, racing-focused Aeroswift line up. Previously Nike had the Aeroswift half tights at the top end and the Nike Fast Half Tights as their legacy model. The Fast Half Tights were updated with a liner, side pockets, and a rear drop in pockets a few years ago, and despite their lower price I've come to love them. The Aeroswift also have numerous pockets, but they use a rear, internal, drop-in style and I tend to prefer the outer, side location for easy access. This new tight comes in right between the Fast Half Tights and the Aeroswift Half Tights in terms of price. They feature two side pockets and a rear zippered pocket (that is large enough to fit a phone). I wear them in my normal size and I find the legs to be more compressive than the Fast, but less than the Aeroswift. I also appreciate that this model has a completely different paneling/seam structure than any other half tights I've used. It uses 5 panels for a very contoured fit, but it completely avoids having a seam directly down the middle of the front like many shorts have. Also shown in the video is a new balaclava that's part of the updated Nike ACG lineup and it looks great!
