Happy Monday! Kicking off the new week with the always fabulous Nolans and this epic 1991 performance of ‘Tidal Wave’ on Japanese television. ‘Tidal Wave’ was the title track from the group’s 3rd album of Japanese pop songs adapted into English. Featuring lead vocals by Coleen, it’s an absolute banger! And everything about this performance is ICONIC! The choreography, the song, the superb live vocals (one wouldn’t expect any less from the group), and not forgetting the audience... A little snippet of the wild times we had on the old Tele track. We went full send and had a go at everything that was thrown at us! We conquered the infamous Gunshot and Nolan’s crossing, unfortunately I had to get winched out of Gunshot because I stalled it and couldn’t get the big girl to start again. Which means only one thing... I have to try again next time 😂 As for Nolan’s it was actually one of the easiest crossings on the track, I guess I just picked a good line because there is rumours that it claimed 60 cars this season. I had an absolute blast and definitely gave Big Mig a run for her money, we popped one tyre off the bead and ruined it, another tyre had a slow leak from hitting a tree root, killed the belt tensioner and pulley, killed a head light globe and lost my licence plate! But god damn did we have fun😅 Can’t wait to turn this into a full length YouTube episode🤙🏼
