Once those blooms on your orchid falls off, you have some work to do. That Sphagnum moss, in our home, can retain too much moisture long term, so a mix shown here can help to keep her healthy. Having a good root system is the start to having a successful and healthy growing orchid.

Have you ever wondered what to do after all your orchid’s flowers have _fallen_ off? 😌 Here is a step by step video that will help you get your beautiful plant to rebloom 🌺 My go-to Orchid DIY mix: • 65% Bark (Pine) • 15% sphagnum moss • 10% Pumice/Perlite • 10% Charcoal • 5% Mosquito Bits I always follow these steps and I just love seeing my orchids flowering again and again😍: 1. Take the orchid out of its pot 2. Remove the old potting medium and the death plug if applicable ☠️ 3. Rinse the roots with lukewarm water 4. Trim off any bad roots with sterilized scissors 5. Put the orchid in a clean pot with good drainage 7. Fill the pot with chosen orchid potting medium 8. Water the orchid 9.
