I think this moment is why they made this emoji 🫠🫠🫠🫠. This clip is from saying goodbye to her when we visited in April. I actually melted when she hugged Cole like that 😭. Update from today: we got all of our documents mailed off to the orphanage! Now we *hope* they have everything they need to request a court date for us. And we’ll wait to see if the NOC is issued this week. Cole drove around literally all day getting papers notarized and mailing the dossier off. He actually had to go back two times to get papers notarized and he was ripped off both times 🤦🏻♀️😅. Sometimes we have to choose our battles and know that bringing her home will be worth the extra rupees! I’m grateful that he put up with it for her/our sake. Now we keep waiting ✌🏻. Thanks for being along for the ride with us!! #indiaadoption #adoptionrocks g #delhimoms #delhiblogger #delhidiaries #doterraindia #newdelhi #delhi

Adoption is a beautiful way to build a family—but in India, it’s also a legal process governed by the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA). Understanding eligibility is crucial before you begin your journey. ✨ WHO CAN ADOPT? ✔️ Single Individuals (Male or Female) – A single woman can adopt a child of any gender – A single man can adopt only a boy child 👉 Reason: To ensure safety and emotional well-being of the child ✔️ Married Couples – Must have a stable marriage (usually 2+ years) – Both spouses must consent 👉 Reason: Ensures a secure and supportive environment ✔️ Age Criteria Must Be Met – Combined age and age gap rules apply 👉 Reason: To ensure parents can responsibly raise the child till adulthood ✔️ Financially Stable Individuals – Must show ability to provide education, healthcare, and upbringing 👉 Reason: Child’s long-term security ✔️ Physically & Mentally Fit Individuals – No life-threatening diseases 👉 Reason: Child deserves consistent care and attention ❌ WHO CANNOT ADOPT? 🚫 Couples with Unstable Marriages – Frequent conflicts or lack of consent 👉 Reason: Child’s emotional stability is priority 🚫 Individuals with Serious Health Issues – Life-threatening or debilitating conditions 👉 Reason: Risk to child’s future care 🚫 Those with Criminal Backgrounds – Especially crimes involving abuse or violence 👉 Reason: Child safety is non-negotiable 🚫 Financially Unstable Individuals – No steady income or support system 👉 Reason: Inability to provide basic needs 🚫 Single Male Wanting to Adopt a Girl Child 👉 Reason: Legal safeguard for the child 🚫 People with Substance Abuse Issues 👉 Reason: Unsafe environment for upbringing Thinking about adoption? Comment “ADOPT” and I’ll guide you through the complete legal process step-by-step. Ed's Field Notes: ( a reminder 🎗️ to be kind out there. If this made you feel something. Than it means there is hope for us all. Have faith. There is good in the world. ) Would you adopt her? A baby girl was filmed in a supposed orphanage while awaiting adoption. The video has generated a lot of attention due to how tender and thoughtful the little girl seemed at the time. "I hope she finds good parents," "I love her," "What a cute baby," are some of the user reactions. The exact location and date of publication are unknown. More videos on @noticiaspimentel

Recently we’ve visited Bali baby home, an orphanage which guarantees a shelter for both single mothers with unwanted accidental pregnancies and abandoned babies. In Indonesia abortion is illegal (exceptions are when woman was raped or medical indications), therefor women with out-of-wedlock pregnancies suffer from social pressure, loss of employment, isolation from the family. These women often find themselves homeless and have no choice but to hide and abandon their child at birth or worse… We were met by Burhan, a man who founded Bali Baby Home in March 2022. We had a long talk asking about his story, how the orphanage started, about abandoned babies living there. He is a man with a big heart full of love. For now he literally saved lives of 11 toddlers and 2 young mothers. The orphanage operates due to occasional donations of tourists like us and Burhan’s work as a tour guide and entrepreneur. The government doesn’t help. Burhan has to pay the rest of loan for this orphanage house around 3.500$ and there are daily life expenses of 11 babies (food, hygiene, medical, etc). If you feel you want to help, you can find the crowdfunding link in account @bali.babyhome Each 5$ matters a lot! And these small angels have a huge lack of mother’s loving eyes, arms, warmth of a body, attention. So when you’re in Bali you can write Burhan in whatsapp and come to spend time with the babies. We can’t change the whole world. But we can change the life of one baby 💛 #orphanage #baliindonesia #helpingothers #helpchildren #babies

why would i choose to go back to this place? i never wanted to go back to india after i got adopted. i never wanted to go back to the very place that broke me in every way…so what changed? i met Jesus. and He changed me. He not only healed my heart from the pain, but He also gave me a new desire to see my own people experience the same hope, freedom, and joy that He gave me. to go back to this place was more than just healing; it was redemptive in every way 🤍 #india #adoption #story #orphange #newdelhi #reels #explorepage

Watch till the end to watch the reaction of the caregiver who took care of Ada. Before we got her, her name was NATHIYARASI which means Queen of the River. Which is so true as she loves water, be it to drink, bathe or play in. 😁 These were the last few moments of Ada in her the orphanage she grew up in. We got her home when she was 15 months old. Today at almost 2 and a half years she is such a smart little girl! I specially thank her orphanage and all the caregivers, sisters and nurses who took care of Ada and also who take care of so many more abandoned babies. #Adoption

How long did our adoption process take? I have had many requests to share our timeline of events. So here it is. We had our home study 5 months after applying. Then we got approved by CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority) to adopt 6 months after that. Then once we were approved things went quicker. We accepted her file within a week, visited her a few days later, and after 2 more months received government approval for us to adopt Nisha. We took her into our home and had her in pre-adoptive foster care for 3 months before we got a court date. Then after the adoption was finalized she was officially and legally ours! Our entire process was 17 months from start to finish. Of course, it was long and hard, but she was completely worth it and we couldn't be happier with this sweet little girl in our lives 💕 #adoption #adoptionjourney #adoptionprocess

This video was just for us and haven but after seeing how much you all loved our adoption day video, I wanted to share this one too. 🤍 I’ve always captured these moments just for Haven. Some I share, some I keep for us. But it’s the sweetest thing seeing how many people love our girl. @skims @drbrowns @nike @zara @ouraring @newbalance @target
