Yes, I unfollowed almost every fashion influencer in my account here’s why… This may sound weird as a girl that ownes a second hand designer clothes shop and also works as a personal stylist that really LOVES fashion But… I do feel like the whole fashion influencer industry can be unrealistic for most women and can create that ‘not enough’ feeling I so hate! Rather be inspired I was very judgmental, I could see this is not authentic and not reflect the values I am all about…. Such as: 1. Buying clothes with intention not because it’s trendy, 2. Supporting the second hand movement, 3. Connecting to yourself and your personal style, 4. Buying out of love and not of FOMO 5. And yes paying off retail prices! So I unfollowed every fashion influencer that didn’t align with my values. Now it’s important to say I do believe in balance and getting inspired because some of them have such a beautiful style but it’s not sometime I would love to see in my feed every day!
