DIY painted plates I painted these plates recently just for fun - no brief, no pressure, no plan to sell. Just a little creative play for the joy of it. The magic is often found in experimenting, in the unknown of “will this even work?”. Back to filming again — it’s been a while! I learned this dreamy painting technique in China and I finally tried it on one of my plates 🤍 💌 Now the real question is: What should I paint next?

DIY painted wall plates 🦞🍋🐚 When I was looking around for painted plates to hang on my kitchen wall, I thought, I can do them myself! I bought some plain white plates from @dunelmuk and ceramic paints from @tkmaxxuk then let my paintbrush do the rest. I'm so pleased with how the lobster turned out! 🦞 The ceramic paints are the ones @yvonneellen uses on her plates, so you know they're good! You can also get them from Amazon, but they're a lot cheaper online at TK Maxx. They're easy to work with and if you make a mistake when painting, it can easily be washed off with water. Once you've painted your design, pop them into the oven at 140 degrees for 30 minutes and they're set. FYI - painted plates aren't suitable for eating from - these are just for decoration!
