I got asked to teach a group of women in my neighborhood how to paint plates so I painted a few samples that they can look at and get ideas from. This craft is so easy! Just grab some enamel paint, (I got mine on Amazon) some paint brushes, and some oven safe plates. I got my plates from the thrift store. I think most glass plates will do fine in the oven (I try to look for dishwasher safe and microwave safe). Just paint on the plates, let them dry for an hour, and then put them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 to let the paint cure. If you mess up while painting the paint wipes off easily. It will not wipe off after it’s been baked in the oven. They are non toxic and dishwasher safe!

DIY painted plates I painted these plates recently just for fun - no brief, no pressure, no plan to sell. Just a little creative play for the joy of it. The magic is often found in experimenting, in the unknown of “will this even work?”.
