This is a proud moment for the school family. At the age of just 7, Ishank Singh successfully crossed the challenging Palk Strait, approximately 30 km long, from Talaimannar in Sri Lanka to Dhanushkodi (Arichalmunai) in India, on April 30. He completed this unique swim in a continuous time of 9 hours and 50 minutes. For this extraordinary achievement, he has been awarded the World Record Certificate of the Youngest and Fastest Palk Strait Swimmer by the Universal Records Forum (URF World Records).
