They're not just "stress" or "overreacting." A panic attack feels like your heartโs racing out of control, your chest tightening like a cage, and every moment stretching into eternity. Itโs more than โbeing anxious.โ Itโs real, and it deserves real understanding and support. To everyone struggling: You are stronger than you know. To those supporting loved ones: Listening and empathy mean everything. Have you ever experienced this? Share your story in the comments, it could help someone else feel less alone. #panicattack #mentalhealthawareness #therapyforteens #tft #BreakTheStigma #mentalhealth #teens #student #reels #explore

signs of someone being anxious doesnโt have to be extremely noticeable, it doesnโt have to be someone hyperventilating and freaking out. as a matter of fact we tend and are trained to hide it and we are quite good at it.๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ If you deal with an anxiety disorder days like these happen and thatโs okay. Let the people around you know how you feel, distract yourself a bit and most important: focus on your deep breaths ๐๐ผ What Iโve learned about those anxious periods is to let them be. yes you feel all the weird things and sensations and yes they are scary. But the actual peak of these feelings isnโt long, it will go away pretty soon.โบ๏ธ And when you notice that more and more, you wonโt be panicking as much, you wonโt be freaking out. It is just there and itโs fine bc you know it will go away.. Last thing, you are okay and it will get better if you work for it!! And donโt feel ashamed, mental health issues are so common so please donโt hesitate to talk about itโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ

One of my most vulnerable panic attacks caught on camera #anxietyattack #panicattack #anxietyfitness

Panic attacks can manifest in many ways, often as overwhelming physical and emotional responses to intense fear or anxiety. For some, they are loud and outwardly visibleโmarked by crying, shaking, hyperventilating, or even calling out for help. These physical expressions can feel uncontrollable and alarming, not only to the person experiencing them but also to those around them. This type of panic attack is often more easily recognized because of its outward signs, which may elicit immediate support or intervention. However, panic attacks can also be silent and internal, making them harder for others to notice. In these instances, the body may freeze completely, rendering the person unable to move or speak, while their heart races and a torrent of anxiety floods their mind. Internally, the person might feel as though they are in a state of complete chaos, but outwardly, they appear still. This silent form of panic can feel isolating and even more overwhelming because it often goes unnoticed, leaving the person to navigate the intense fear and physical symptoms alone. Both forms are equally valid and challenging, highlighting the varied ways anxiety can impact the body and mind. #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealth #anxious #anxietyawareness #anxiety #ptsd #panicattack #anxietyattack #emmaxtropea

When panic attack shows up, whether itโs loud and obvious or silent and hidden, it can feel scary. But youโre not powerless. Sometimes the first step is just reminding yourself that it will pass. When your panic attack feels loud Focus on your breath Breathe in for 4 seconds Hold for 2 seconds Exhale slowly Let your body know itโs safe When your panic attack is silent Notice what you feel Relax your shoulders Unclench your jaw Hold something warm or cold to ground yourself Come back to the present moment Repeat this in your mind This is temporary I am safe My body is trying to protect me I can handle this Youโre doing better than you think Save this for when your mind feels out of control.
