Most lessons are CAUGHT not TAUGHT That’s because your children are always energetic, smart, and honest. They see and soak up everything you do. They mimic everything you do. The EXAMPLE you set becomes the STANDARD they create in their lives over time. When you GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS or SETTLE FOR LESS THAN YOU DESERVE… they see it! And they will always ask the all-important question of, “WHY?” “WHY did you QUIT, dad?” “WHY did you GIVE UP, mom?” Parenting is the most incredibly SATISFYING thing you’ll ever do. But it is also one of the MOST DIFFICULT! LEAD by example. Don’t just TELL them. SHOW them! And watch your children grow into the most amazing human beings you’ll ever know. Think on this… What examples are your ACTIONS setting in your children’s lives? #EDMYLETT #ONEMORE #MAXOUTMONDAY #parentingtips #parentingskills

When I was young, one of my trusted adults told me they didn’t like me. I spent years pouring unfathomable energy into trying to be liked. I wish I had understood sooner that not everyone will like you — and that’s okay. I hope my girls (and boy) never shrink or change who they are for someone else’s opinion. It may take time, but you will find your people. 💛 Navigating young friendships and relationships is complicated and this isn’t always an appropriate reply and she doesn’t have to say it out loud, but I do want her to understand these concepts. 💞 Growing confidence starts on the inside, but moving their bodies helps kids feel it on the outside too. I’m about to blow your mind with this one!🤯 Before we dive in, follow @mommyandmishti for child psychology and positive parenting tools 🧠 If your child loves to sit on your lap, it’s not just because they want to be close or feel comforted in stressful moments.❌ Many children express their deepest love language through physical touch.💁🏻♀️ According to The 5 Love Languages of Children, this is how they both feel loved and show love back.✅ 🙌🏻But there’s more beneath the surface. When your child chooses your lap even during playtime, storytime, or quiet moments, they’re communicating something powerful.🧠 Science shows that physical closeness helps regulate their nervous system. Your warmth, heartbeat, and steady breathing actually help calm their body and mind, even when they’re not upset. 🫶🏻💕 This creates a sense of safety and security that supports their emotional well-being and confidence.🙌🏻 So when your child climbs into your lap, they’re saying: 🥹“I feel safe with you.” 🥹“I want to be close to the person who makes me feel secure.” 🤩“This is my safe place to explore and grow.” ✅As a PARENT, recognizing this message can change how you respond.🔥 Instead of seeing it as clinginess or interruption, you can see it as a chance to deepen your connection and support their emotional health.🫶🏻 ✅Here’s how you can use this powerful message: 1️⃣ Welcome the closeness. Put aside distractions and be fully present in those moments. 2️⃣ Use lap time to bond. Talk, read, or just breathe together. This strengthens their sense of security. 3️⃣ Know that this builds their emotional resilience. Feeling safe in your presence teaches them they can face the world with confidence. 4️⃣ Remember, it’s not about length of time, but quality of connection. Even brief moments of closeness can have lasting impact. If your child doesn’t often want to sit on your lap, don’t worry, they may have a different love language that’s just as meaningful.🔥 Does you child like to sit on your lap?🥹

Do it fast.” “Sit straight.” “Focus!” We’ve all said it. But pressure doesn’t build focus, it shuts the brain down. The Japanese way does the opposite: slow… simple… structured way that train attention step-by-step. That’s why this reel has Level 1 → Level 2 → Level 3 to show how kids learn focus through practice, not pressure. Focus isn’t taught by scolding. It’s built — one level at a time. ✨ 💛 Save this for your calm parenting moments. . . . Follow @theparenthoodinsider for more about gentle and conscious parenting. Every time your baby stares at a shadow, a light, or their own hand that’s not boredom, that’s brain-building. Modern parenting keeps interrupting that sacred focus with noise, toys, and constant stimulation. But silence is a skill. Stillness is intelligence. Protect that moment because focus isn’t taught, it’s protected. That calm, curious gaze you see? That’s your child’s mind wiring itself for life. Don’t break it for entertainment. Guard it. #parentingwisdom #mindfulparenting #childdevelopment #gentleparenting #consciousparenting #earlylearning #raisinghumans #̭parentingtips

Avoiding these 4 feeding mistakes can help your toddler eat better and build healthy habits: 1. Serving Separate Meals than the rest of the family When you cook something different just for your toddler, they miss the chance to get used to family meals. Over time, this makes them even more selective. The better option is to serve the same meal for everyone, just adapted for their age (less salt, less spices , smaller pieces, softer textures). 2. Too many snacks kill appetite Frequent snacking , especially unhealthy, kill your toddler’s appetite. They come to the table already full and end up refusing proper meals. Limit snacks to 2-3 a day and make them nutritious instead. 3. Always sticking to their ‘Favorite Foods’ If you only serve their favorite foods, the diet becomes very limited. Your toddler never gets the chance to accept new tastes. You can include a “favorite food” on the plate to make sure they’re fed, but add something new or less preferred alongside it, even in a very small portion. 4. Giving Up After Several Refusals It’s normal for a toddler to refuse foods many times. Most parents give up after just 2–3 tries, but kids often need 10–15 exposures of a new food before accepting something it. Keep offering a small piece on the plate without pressure, and let time do its work. #mom #toddler #toddlers #toddlersofinstagram #toddlermomlife #toddlerfoodideas #toddlerlife #toddlermeals #toddlermealideas #toddlermom #sahm #sahmomlife #firsttimemom #mommy #parents #parenting #parentstruggles #babyfood #blw #blwinspiration #blwideas #12monthsold #13monthsold #15monthsold #18monthsold #momlife #toddlertips #feeding

Tag or share with a parent who’s carrying a big load right now. You’re not alone in this. 💙 It’s never right to abuse your children because abuse—whether physical, emotional, or verbal—activates a child’s stress system in ways their brain is not built to handle, damaging self-worth, emotional regulation, and long-term mental health. Discipline, on the other hand, is about teaching, guiding, and creating boundaries that help a child feel safe and learn from their mistakes. The fine line is intention and impact: discipline corrects behavior without harming the child, while abuse punishes in ways that create fear, confusion, and lasting emotional wounds. Healthy discipline is calm, clear, and connected; abuse is reactive, frightening, and leaves the child feeling unsafe in their own home.
