This is one of my top tips for a quick quilt when you’re in a pinch! Patchwork. It’s simple, it’s timeless, it’s classic. #chefskiss But my absolute HACK to making patchwork quilts is to keep 5” (or whatever your preferred size square is) on hand. I have a full bin of 5” squares in all the colors of the rainbow. That way, when I need to make a quick quilt (like this baby quilt), a huge chunk of the work is already done! 💃🏻 A friend of mine is having a baby and is due any day so I’m trying to quickly make a baby quilt. However, she didn’t find out what she is having so I’m going to be making a girl quilt and a boy quilt!🙃 But I love her and am happy to do that! I’m sure you’re thinking, “procrastinate much?” and my answer would be “yes.” 😂😂 What can I say? I am what I am. ALSO, I love using the webbing method when piercing a patchwork quilt together. In fact, I have a step-by-step tutorial for this technique and I’ll send you the link to it!
