Homemade Pho in the Instant Pot 🍜✨ So rich, flavorful, and done in a fraction of the time! Who else loves pho at home? ❤️ Instant Pot Pho (Easy & Flavorful) 🍜✨ Ingredients: * 3 beef bones * 1 beef shank * 1 tray shabu shabu beef (round eye) or thinly sliced round eye * 1 white or yellow onion * 1–2 large pieces ginger * 1 pack pho spices * A handful of rock sugar * 4–8 tbsp fish sauce * Salt, to taste * 1 bunch green onions * 1 bunch cilantro * 1 lime * 16 oz pho noodles ⸻ Instructions: 1️⃣ Parboil the bones Parboil the beef bones and beef shank for about 5–10 minutes. Drain, rinse, and clean them well to remove impurities. 2️⃣ Char the aromatics Char the onion and ginger until nicely blackened on all sides. This adds deep flavor to your broth. 3️⃣ Toast the spices Toast the pho spices in a dry pan until fragrant, then place them into a spice bag. 4️⃣ Load the Instant Pot Add the beef bones, beef shank, charred onion, ginger, and spice bag into the Instant Pot. 5️⃣ Add liquid & seasoning Fill with water up to the max line. Add fish sauce and rock sugar. 6️⃣ Pressure cook Cook on High Pressure for 1 hour, then allow natural release if possible. 7️⃣ Prep noodles & toppings While the broth cooks, prepare pho noodles according to package instructions and chop your toppings. 8️⃣ Strain & season broth Strain the broth into another pot. Add more water if needed, then season with salt and additional fish sauce to taste. Bring to a boil again. 9️⃣ Assemble your bowl Add pho noodles, sliced beef shank, raw thinly sliced beef, cilantro, and green onions to your bowl. 🔟 Pour & serve Pour the hot broth over everything to cook the raw beef. Zutaten: - 1 ganzes Huhn - ⁠2 große Zwiebeln - ⁠1 Stück Ingwer - ⁠je 1 Zimtstange und schwarzer Kardamom - ⁠1 TL Fenchelsamen, 2 TL Koriandersaat, 6-7 Nelken, 3 Sternanis - ⁠90 ml Fischsauce - ⁠1 Stück Kandiszucker - ⁠breite Reisnudeln - ⁠Sojasprossen, Koriander, Frühlingszwiebel, Limette 1. Huhn mit kaltem Wasser (ca. 4-5 L) bedecken; 10 min sprudelnd aufkochen und den Dreck von der Wasseroberfläche abschöpfen 2.
