First and foremost, How do you make a tissue dance? You put a little boogie in it. Nose piercings are that lvl 2. Piercing strategy. “I’m going to get my lobes, my seconds, my cartilage and my nose. In that order. “ Now, if you’re thinking GASP how’d she know. Well because it’s what I did. The piercings just not in that order. I was certainly more afraid of my nose piercing than cartilage BUT cartilage was harder heal. Took longer. My nostril piercing and septum? Never an issue. As a piercer yes, clean with saline. As a person I didn’t do shit. Nothing but shower like a normal human being, still wore my makeup, still washed my face, still slept on my side and yet…… no problems. I didn’t touch it , just let it live. And a squirt of saline sometimes. Fear is always much greater than the reality and the reward is much greater than the fear. A nostril piercing in my opinion (because all advice is opinion not a fact) based on my experience. As a piercer, I would say nostril piercings and septum piercings take around 3 to 6 months To heal. As a person, I can tell you , with nose piercings, it’ll feel a little tender, kind of like a bruise next day but nothing more. The septum won’t feel a thing, unless you move her around. Don’t move her around. Other answers to common questions : You can switch to hoop once it isn’t tender when you snag the piercing. There is no specific timeline for how long you need to wait to get a hoop. Your body heals at its own pace. There is no blanket timelines for any healing process. You CAN get pierced with a hoop. It’s not recommended by many piercers. The effect on you, may be that you get a bump on your piercing. AND no one wants to be judged by their peers. But we shouldn’t judge you, so should you get pierced w a hoop, we can be patient with healing it. If you have a fresh piercing and need to hide it, flip up the septum and get a larger diameter at the time you get pierced, keeps it from sight and from falling down, when you go home. 😉 love you mean it ✨
