The first few months after moving from Sydney to Melbourne were pure survival mode — finding an apartment, finding work, finding childcare for our daughter. Once that was done, it was straight into house hunting, which was insanely competitive and stressful. Seven months in and I still hadn’t really seen Melbourne. I just didn’t have the time.
